VueStream IPTV player help & setup

Free, ad-free — bring your own playlist

VueStream is a media player only. It does not provide, host, or include any TV channels, films, streams, or other media. To use VueStream you must supply your own playlist or IPTV subscription from a provider you are legally entitled to use. VueStream is not affiliated with any content provider.

New to VueStream? These guides walk you through adding your playlist, loading a TV guide, casting to the big screen and installing the app on every device. Still stuck? Email support@vuestreamplayer.com and we’ll help you get set up.

Add an M3U / M3U8 playlist

  1. Open VueStream and sign in to your free account.
  2. Go to Add playlist and choose M3U / M3U8.
  3. Paste your playlist URL (or upload the file) and save.
  4. VueStream loads your Live TV, Movies and Series and organizes them into categories.

Sign in with Xtream Codes

  1. On the Add playlist screen, choose Xtream Codes.
  2. Enter the server URL, username and password from your provider.
  3. VueStream uses the Xtream Codes API to load Live TV, Movies and Series.
  4. Your credentials are stored in your device’s secure store and encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) in the sync service.

Add an EPG / XMLTV TV guide

To get a full electronic program guide, paste your XMLTV guide URL in playlist settings. VueStream matches it to your channels and shows what’s on now and next in a scrollable grid you can jump by time and category. Most providers supply the XMLTV link alongside your playlist.

Cast to your TV

From the phone and tablet apps, tap the cast button and pick your device. VueStream discovers and casts to Chromecast, Android TV / Google TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung and LG, plus any DLNA device on the same Wi-Fi network. Casting runs in the native apps; the browser web IPTV player plays locally.

Install on Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung, LG & Apple TV

VueStream is an IPTV player for every screen. Open your device’s app store and search for VueStream:

  • Amazon Fire TV / Firestick — install from the Amazon Appstore, or sideload the APK.
  • Android TV / Google TV — install from Google Play.
  • Apple TV (tvOS 17+) — install the native tvOS app from the App Store.
  • iPhone & iPad — install from the App Store.
  • Samsung Smart TV (Tizen 8.0, 2023+) — search “VueStream” in the Samsung app store.
  • LG Smart TV (webOS) — install from the LG Content Store, or use the IPK.

One free account with profiles syncs your playlists, favorites and watch history across all of them. See the full list on the available platforms section.
